ADNOC Distribution launches Voyager green series, a range of 100% vegetable motor oils

ABU DHABI: ADNOC Distribution has launched a new range of Voyager Green Series lubricant products for gasoline and diesel engines, made from 100% vegetable base oil. The new products are part of ADNOC Distribution’s overall strategy to continue to expand its range of sustainable and environmentally friendly products.

Voyager PX Green is developed specifically for gasoline engines and Voyager DX Green for diesel engines. The high-quality blending technology is the first approach in the region to be made entirely from vegetable base oils, demonstrating the company’s commitment to providing customers with more environmentally friendly product options. .

Eng. Bader Saeed Al Lamki, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, said: “This innovative new range gives our customers an even wider range of choices when selecting the right lubricant for their vehicles. Leveraging our in-house research team and production facilities, we will continue to invest in innovation that delivers more choice, quality and supports our move towards a more diverse energy mix.”

Vegetable base oils are made from sustainable raw materials, such as palm, soy, coconut and rapeseed. The range is formulated to deliver higher levels of engine performance than conventional synthetic base oils, due to its unique molecular composition. The new series will also feature certifications from the internationally renowned American Petroleum Institute (API) as well as endorsements from major automotive manufacturers, so customers can be assured of the highest levels of quality.

ADNOC Distribution formulates and produces the Voyager Green Series in its dedicated factory in the United Arab Emirates, ensuring the highest levels of quality and efficiency in accordance with international standards. This new range of lubricants will be available in the United Arab Emirates from March 2022, as well as through the company’s international distribution network of 19 countries.
