CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, January 10, 2022 / PRNewswire / – The Barings Global Short Duration High Yield Fund (the “Fund” (NYSE: BGH) announced its monthly dividend for January 2022 of $ 0.1056 per share, payable on February 1st, 2022. Based on December 31, 2021 share price of $ 17.34 per share, the distribution represents an annualized return of 7.31% per share. Based on current projections up to the payment date, the Fund expects this distribution to consist of net investment income.

In addition, the Fund announced estimated monthly distributions of $ 0.1056 per share for February and March 2022.

The Fund seeks to pay a distribution at a rate that reflects the net investment income actually earned. A portion of each distribution may be deemed to be paid from sources other than net investment income, including, but not limited to, a short-term capital gain, a long-term capital gain, or a redemption. of capital. The final determination of the source and tax characteristics of such distributions will depend on the investment experience of the Fund during its financial year and will be made after the end of the financial year of the Fund. The Fund will send investors a Form 1099-DIV for the calendar year which will define how to report these distributions for federal income tax purposes.
