Karnataka PUC 2nd Results 2021 Live: The Karnataka state government decided to promote all applicants without taking exams, following the Covid-19 situation.

Karnataka PUC 2021 Year 2 Results Live Updates: The Department of Pre-University Education (PUE) announced the result of the exams of the Board of Directors of PU-II or Class 12 Karnataka today at 4 p.m. via a press conference. Students can check their results on the official website – karresults.nic.in.

No less than 2,239 students achieved the maximum mark (600/600) this year after the assessment process. Out of the total of 6,66,497 students registered for the II PUC exams, 95,628 obtained marks of distinction as an assessment taking into account the scores of SSLC, I PU and II PU (internal).

The state government of Karnataka had decided to promote all candidates without taking exams, following the Covid-19 situation. A special endpoint has been designed to calculate the grade 2 PUC results. In accordance with the criteria, a weighting of 45 percent will be given to the scores obtained for the SSLC (class 10), 45 percent to the I PU scores and 10 percent to the internal evaluation scores of II PU.

The government has decided to award 35 percent of grace marks to candidates who repeat the jury’s exam. Over 76,000 candidates who registered for the exam this year fall into this category.

Last year, the overall pass percentage was 69.20 with Science at 67.28%, Commerce at 65.52% and Arts at 41.27%. Among the districts, Udupi had passed in 2020. About 5.95 lakh students had registered for the Karnataka PUC exams this year.
