Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will address the state-level program of distributing laptops to deserving students on September 30 at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal. Chief Minister Chouhan inquired about the preparations for this program during a meeting at his residence this evening. School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and senior officers were also present.
It can be noted that during the Class XII examination of the Board of Secondary Education, an amount of Rs 25,000 will be transferred to the account of students who have obtained 75% or more marks in the first attempt to purchase a laptop. About 95,000 students benefit from this program in the state. Chief Minister Chouhan will transfer the amount to the student account with one click. Necessary preparations are being made for the program by the Department of School Education and Tribal Affairs.
Chief Minister Chouhan said the purpose of this talent promotion program is to motivate and encourage all students, including those who have achieved more than 75 percent marks. In the program, groups of students from Bhopal district as well as other districts in the state will participate.
Students across the state will be able to tune into the program via webcast at their schools and elsewhere. Chief Minister Chouhan said that while pursuing their studies, students worry about a better future when they are admitted from school to college, university or other institutions. Students need guidance at these times. To ensure that students are serious and enthusiastic about higher education and the career, communication with them is also essential.
Chief Minister Chouhan has instructed Collector Bhopal to secure seats, drinking water and other provisions for the students who will come to participate in the program to be held at the Lal Parade Ground.
Chief Minister Chouhan will address the students and offer them benefits under the Talented Student Promotion Program. Students as well as parents will listen to his address across the state. Chief Minister Chouhan gave advice to students from time to time. In this footage, he had a direct dialogue with the students under the Mama ki Pathshala during the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign last month. Chief Minister Chouhan also attended classes during Narmada Seva Yatra and other public campaigns in previous years to encourage students.
