The AlsoEnergy platform is now accessible for C&I solar projects via the distribution channel

AlsoEnergy is launching a distribution channel to offer EPCs (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and developers broader access to its platform. The new model builds on the sales strategy and relationships of Stem, which acquired AlsoEnergy late last year, and focuses on C&I projects up to 3 MW. The channel is launched with a leading North American distributor and is expected to expand to other distributors.

AlsoEnergy’s platform focuses on improving economic and operational opportunities for a range of systems. It includes state-of-the-art solutions that collect and record on-site condition data from a variety of clean energy hardware. The data is then securely transmitted to PowerTrack, AlsoEnergy’s cloud-based application for optimizing clean energy assets, providing information on expected site performance adjusted for weather conditions.

“By launching a distribution channel, we are able to serve a larger market in the United States and more diversified portfolios of energy assets by improving access to our industry-leading solutions,” said Bob Schaefer, president of ‘AlsoEnergy. “As a new part of Stem, we are excited to continue to develop this channel to accelerate the transition to clean energy.”

Accompanying the 5-year PowerTrack subscriptions, three of AlsoEnergy’s edge solutions will now be offered through its distribution channel, including Power Light Commercial Solution 400, Power Light Commercial Solution 600 BASE and Power Light Commercial Solution 600 PLUS.

“Three years ago, the Stem Partner Program pioneered energy storage in the distribution channel and established successful relationships with national and global distribution leaders,” said Alan Russo, Director revenue at Stem. “As a key post-acquisition milestone for Stem and AlsoEnergy, this new distribution channel is an important milestone for the companies’ business goals of creating an inclusive energy economy by providing synergistic and market-leading solutions.”

Since 2019, the Stem Partner Network has generated over 500 active partners and over 48 GWh of active projects.

We have a ton of video interviews and additional content on our YouTube page. Recently we debuted Power forward! — a collaboration with BayWa re to discuss high-level industry topics as well as best practices/trends for running a solar business today.

Our longer side project is Field — in which we have awkward talks with solar manufacturers and suppliers about their new technologies and ideas so you don’t have to. We’ve discussed everything from residential trackless bridge fixing and home solar energy financing to large-scale energy storage value stacking and new solar and home storage microgrids driven by public services.

We also publish our project announcements for the year! Interviews with this year’s winners will begin the week of November 8. Go ahead and subscribe today to stay up to date with all that extra stuff.
