Master agent Tradewinds Technology Brokerage has signed an agreement with cloud platform company Lumen Technologies to offer the vendor’s solutions through its channel model.

An agreement through Agent Alliance has expanded an existing relationship and helps meet the growing demand for technology services in the marketplace.

The Agent Alliance is a consortium of technology companies representing various industry sectors, including communications, computing, cloud, storage, virtualization, mobility and converged IP services.

It offers a unified point of contact for suppliers, with the scale needed to gain benefits that are beyond the reach of a single carrier, according to the organization’s website.

It also functions as an education, collaboration, and information-sharing forum to assist members.

“The Agent Alliance is dedicated to promoting the best business results and best business practices nationwide for the channel ecosystem,” said Tradewinds ANZ boss Tony Heywood.

“We are excited about this expansion and welcome Lumen Technologies to our portfolio. We know our partners will appreciate being able to offer their advanced application delivery architecture to their customers. »

Lumen ANZ Sales Director Olaf Lambooy said driving business through digital interactions and delivering compelling end-user experiences were key areas of focus for many organisations.

“Partners can leverage our solutions and expertise to accelerate growth, increase efficiency and exceed customer expectations.

“Our channel partner program is about connecting, not only with our global network and technology solutions, but also with a network of support, resources and training that can help companies drive business growth. .”

Agents transacting through Tradewinds will join the Lumen Channel partner program member and gain access to the company’s full portfolio, which includes network, infrastructure and application offerings.

The deal with Lumen is the first for Tradewinds this year, which added US managed detection and response provider eSentire to its APAC cybersecurity distribution portfolio in October last year.
